My name is Toby Houben, I have been a sworn translator for English and Spanish since 1999 and I started To-Vertaal out of my love for languages and passion for the profession in 2008. Thanks to my education at the School of Translation and Interpreting in Maastricht and ample experiences at several translation agencies, I have built a solid network of translators that covers practically all Western European languages and specialities.

I have learned that the best possible translation is created when two professionals are on top of it, so the work of the translator is always corrected by a native editor. In addition, all translators and editors I work with always keep up to date in the field of translation through continuing professional development. The combination of the professionalism of the translators and the cooperation between translator and editor guarantees the promised quality of authentic language use and content.
